Aamrapali Dubey supports Ravi Kishan over Jaya Bachchan's comment says; 'I proudly stand by him'

Yesterday, veteran actress and MP Jaya Bachchan took a dig at Ravi Kishan in the Parliament who had earlier spoke about drug usage in Bollywood. Today, Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey came forward to support Ravi.

She took to her Instagram handle and expressed her views on the issue. She wrote, “#ISTANDWITHRAVIKISHAN @RAVIKISHANN JI HAS ALWAYS STOOD WITH OUR INDUSTRY (BHOJPURI AND INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY BOTH) AND HAS ALWAYS MADE OUR INDUSTRY PROUD AND SO, I PROUDLY STAND BY HIM #SWATCHHBHARAT #SWATCHHINDUSTRY”.

She also tweeted, “Jis thaali mein khate hain usme chhed nahi kar rahe, uss thali ko saaf rakhna chahte hain taaki aane wali piddhi bhi swachch thaali mein kha sake #IstandwithRaviKishan”.

For the uninitiated, this is what Jaya Bachchan commented in the parliament, “Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame. People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that govt tells such people not to use this kind of language.”
