Actor Gavie Chahal to undergo another round of eye surgery, also diagnosed with dengue

Gavie Chahal of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ fame is still recovering from his eye surgery in his home state, Punjab. To add to his woes, the actor was diagnosed with dengue eight days ago. As we called Gavie to check up on him, and ask if he has recovered and planning to go to ‘Bigg Boss 14’ house, he told us, “It seems difficult as I have not recovered yet. In fact, I will have to do undergo another round of surgery in October. Also, I was diagnosed with dengue around eight days ago. I am on medications and my body is weak right now. Forget ‘Bigg Boss’, I won’t be able to resume work for the next three months or so, as my eye surgery is complicated and will need time to recover.”

For those who don’t know, Gavie opted out of ‘Bigg Boss 14’ as he had to undergo a surgery for retinal detachment in his right eye in August. “The worst part is that I can’t even lie down straight. My next surgery involves the injection of temporary silicone oil in my eye. So, it will take me some time to recover fully and resume work,” he said.
