Actor Soori joins the set of Sivakarthikeyan's 'Don' today

We’d told you that Soori is part of Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Don’, which will be directed by debutant Cibi Chakaravarthi, a former associate of director Atlee. The actor, too, posted on his social media about being part of the film, which later became a fun banter between Soori and Sivakarthikeyan.

And today, we hear that the actor has joined the set. The film, which is said to be a comedy entertainer, will have both Sivakarthikeyan and Soori in the role of college students. The film’s shooting is taking place in a college premises in Coimbatore. Sivakarthikeyan, who celebrates his birthday today, was surprised by his team members, too. Soori also took to his social media to post a picture with Sivakarthikeyan from the set to wish him.

The film, Cibi said, will be a wholesome entertainment, with a lot of comedy and drama. “He is a college rebel. Nothing too serious.. but there will always be that guy in our gang who keeps making fun of everything, right? He essays that kind of role,” Cibi said. Priyanka Arul Mohan will be essaying the female lead, while SJ Suryah will be seen playing a prominent role. The film also has Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan and Kaali Venkat in the film. Music will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
