Only a couple of months ago, Vijay’s house in Saligramam and actor Ajith’s residence in Injambakkam in Chennai received a fake bomb threat through the police control room. While the hoax caller was identified a man named Bhuvanesh, who hailed from Marakkanam, Villupuram district and a mentally unstable person on both the occasions, the latest is that actor Suriya’s old office in Alwarpet has received a similar bomb threat last evening.
A miscreant made call to the police control room on Monday stating that a bomb had been placed in the actor’s office. Interestingly, the star actor had vacated the building long back and shifted to a new office in Adyar.
The police officials along with the bomb squad rushed to Suriya’s office on Monday to conduct a thorough search after the miscreant made the bomb threat. After a search on the premises, the police confirmed that it was a hoax call. It is not known if the person who was behind the bomb threat was politically motivated or mentally challenged, like in the earlier two occasions mentioned above.
A similar incident happened in June thi year, when superstar Rajinikanth’s house also got a bomb threat by an unidentified person. Looks like the pranksters are working overtime during this lockdown due to the coronavirus.
