Akshara Singh slams Bollywood filmmaker Anubhav Sinha's comment on Bhojpuri cinema

Popular Bollywood filmmaker Anubhav Sinha recently slammed the entire Bhojpuri film industry after Ravi Kishan commented about drug abuse in the entertainment industry in the parliament. Now Bhojpuri actress-singer Akshara Singh expressed her anger towards Anubhav’s statement on the Bhojpuri cinema.

Supporting Ravi and Kangana Ranaut, the actress shared a video on Instagram where she told Sinha to look at the wrong happening in the Bollywood industry. The actress stands with Ravi and said that if someone in the industry is raising a voice to do something right, what is wrong with it? She accepted that some films must have been made in every language, but good films are also made in the Bhojpuri cinema. She stated that Ravi has come from a small place and is a self-made actor.

Along with Bhojpuri movies, Akshara has also worked in several popular Hindi television shows. She is best known for her roles in Bhojpuri movies like ‘Love Marriage’, ‘Ye Kahani Hai Laila Majnu Ki’ and ‘Maa Tujhhe Salaam’.

On the work front, the actress will be next seen in an action-drama ‘Doli’ alongside Ritesh Pandey and Krishna Kumar. The story of the film is penned by Arvind Tiwari while music composed by Avinash Jha. The maker has not revealed the release date yet.
