Akshay Waghmare to play politician in his next 'Khurchi'

Actor Akshay Waghmare who has played challenging role in various Marathi movies, is set to win heart of his fans with an interesting role in his upcoming movie ‘Khurchi’.

Akshay who is known for movies like ‘Youth’, ‘Hou De Jarasa Ushir’, ‘Dostigiri’ and ‘Shivya’ among others will be seen playing a politician in his next. Charming and hardworking young talent Akshay will be seen playing a role of 25 year old ‘Samrat’ who stays in rural area and has completely moulded himself in that village.

When asked about his role in ‘Khurchi’ Akshay replies “Politics is one of my favorite topics and that is the reason I could prepare and moulded myself into this character eeasily for ‘Khurchi’. I am curiously waiting to watch myself on big screen because this is first time I am playing this kind of role. Even in my personal life, I am close to politics and this will reflect in my character. I am sure audience will definitely like it.”

Helmed by director Avinash Khochre Patil, the film will also feature, Aaryan Santosh Hagvane, Shreya Pasalkar and President of Marathi film Corporation Meghraj Bhosle. Meghraj will be seen playing an interesting character in the film. The film is produced by Santosh Vasant Hagvane and co- produced by Sachin Deepak Shinde, Vishal Appa Hagvane, Pradeep Natthisingh Nagar and Dr. Sneha Joglekar.

On family front, Akshay has recently shared a good news with friends and family. Akshay and wife Yogita is set to welcome their first child soon.
