Alia Bhatt demands justice for Hathras gang-rape victim: ‘They cut her tongue but couldn’t silence her’

After Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan among several other Bollywood celebrities took turns on their social media accounts to demand justice for a 19-year-old woman from Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh who was gang-raped, now Alia Bhat joined the bandwagon to seek justice for the victim who passed away at a Delhi hospital on Tuesday.

Taking to her Instagram story, Alia wrote, “They cut her tongue but they could not silence her. She now speaks in a billion voices #Hathras”
