Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Brahmastra’ helmed filmmaker Ayan Mukerji is one of the films that has been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the director during the lockdown has worked on editing and visual effects of the film to keep it rolling, now the team has kickstarted a 10-day schedule in a Mumbai studio with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, and South superstar Nagarjuna, making it total 183 shoot days of the film.
The makers will also be shooting two songs with the lead actors in January, owing to the virus outbreak as they are keen to do it on a grand scale. However, other mediums are also being considered to not compromise on the visuals of the films.
While the film was initially slated for December 2020, but now the final release date will be announced once theatres in India and all around the world reopen with a good number of audience.
In the film, RK will be playing the role of Shiva with the superpower to emit fire from his hands while Alia will be his on-screen ladylove. Nagarjuna will be seen as an archaeologist with Amitabh Bachachan and Mouni Roy as the antagonist. It also features Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role.
