Alia Bhatt thanks Nagarjuna after wrapping up Brahmastra shoot

Actor Nagarjuna on Tuesday wrapped up shoot for his upcoming Bollywood flick Brahmastra, in which he’s playing a key role. The actor shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the film that is touted as a trilogy.

As Nagarjuna bid adieu to the Brahmastra team, actress Alia Bhatt thanked the Wild Dog star for his support. Taking to social media, the RRR actress wrote, “that’s a wrap for Nagarjuna Sir on BRAHMASTRA! Thank you for the memories sir.. such an honor to work with you️. with the end of the shoot so near.. can’t help but look back on what a journey it has been so far on the film.. & the excitement of what lies ahead is another journey ALL TOGETHER (sic).”

Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Brahmastra had gone on floors in early 2019 but the film hit a roadblock due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. With the film’s shoot now wrapped up, the makers are looking at a release date later this year.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is also shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, in which she’s paired opposite Ram Charan. The film, which also stars Jr NTR, will mark Alia’s debut in Tollywood.
