Alia Bhatt to join the sets of SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR's RRR from November?

SS Rajamouli recently resumed shooting for his upcoming film RRR with Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.

He recently even released the Ramaraju for Bheem teaser as promised which saw Tarak as Komaram Bheem, a tribal man who fights for his forest land. He is introduced by Ram Charan who plays Alluri Sitaramaraju, a policeman. The film that also stars Shriya Saran, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris and more in key roles will also see Alia Bhatt make her Telugu debut. While shooting for the film was in progress before lockdown too, a lot of scenes are yet to be canned.

Now, reports state that come November, Alia will join shooting by canning intense scenes which show an ideological clash between Bheem’s character with hers and Sitaramaraju. The scene was reportedly initially set to shoot at a bungalow in Pune, however the makers shifted shooting locations now due to the pandemic. While some reports state that Alia has only one scene to can, others state that she still has all her portion to shoot so has allocated dates till December. The filmmakers on the other hand are also yet to confirm the same.

Currently, night shoots are in progress for RRR with the filmmakers sharing a glimpse. The film’s team was recently perfecting the art of dripping blood and getting Rajamouli’s approval for the same. RRR is a fictional tale based on a year in the life of Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. “A fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. Set in the 1920s, the movie unveils both of them away from home (in Delhi) before they started fighting for the country. It is a pan-Indian film painted on a large canvas,” reads the film’s story. The team of RRR even clarified later on that RRR is a tale of friendship and not a patriotic film at all.

RRR also stars Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani and more in key roles. While the film was initially slated to release during Sankranthi 2021, it remains to be seen when the film, which sees music by MM Keeravani, will wrap up shooting and hit screens. The film will release not just in Telugu but also Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil.
