Anurag Kashyap slams those questioning Bollywood for silence on Sushant Singh Rajput's death case; says they were quiet so far out of respect for him

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took to his Twitter handle to slam the people who are questioning Bollywood for silence on Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

He tweeted, ”Everybody baying for Rhea’s blood, asking questions like how did you know she didn’t do this or that to him?how do you what was he going through?are forgetting that the whole industry has actually known and seen and interacted with SSR over last 9-10 years. Yes we know better 1/2”.

He further added, ”And that is also the reason the whole industry has been quiet so far out of respect for him. And now it is that very knowledge of SSR that has again brought everyone out here together to stand in solidarity for Rhea because it’s gone too far. Republic doesn’t inform our opinion.”

His tweet came after Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest by the Narcotics Central Bureau (NCB) in an alleged drug case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Post Rhea’s arrest, Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handle and stood in solidarity to ‘smash the patriarchy’.

Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, among others shared a quote that was written on the T-shirt that Rhea had worn on Tuesday which happened to be her third day of interrogation with the bureau.
