Arjun Rampal opens up about staying away from the screen for a long time, says he doesn’t regret saying no to films

Arjun Rampal recently revealed that he took a long sabbatical from films because his films were not being watched by the audience. He added that he doesn’t regret saying no to films.

Spilling the beans on the same, Arjun told a news portal that people did tell him that he shouldn’t stay away from films for a long time but he argued that there is no use in doing a film that is bad and not even watched by audiences. According to the actor, those films are still there and no one can erase them.

Elaborating further, Rampal added that he doesn’t regret saying no to films, because according to him, it’s your instincts that allow you to say yes or no to a part. The actor added that every part in a film is predestined, as to which actor is going to play it even though it was written for a particular actor in mind.

Arjun even went on to say that his film, ‘Rock On!!’ is the best example. The part was not written for him. It had gone to two different actors before it came to him. According to the actor, that was predestined for him to be in his filmography. He looks at it as purely that.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun will next be seen in ‘Dhaakad’ which stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. It also features Divya Dutta in a key role.
