Bhakti Kubavat to begin shooting for a Gujarati film this week

As the entertainment industry slowly gets back into the work mode, more Gujarati artistes are returning to work. And after waiting for almost two months after the lockdown and working on smaller projects like short films, web series, TVCs etc, Dhollywood is finally going on floor for feature film shoots as well. Recently, the star cast of Ekvismu Tiffin starring Netri Trivedi, Niilam Paanchal and Raunaq Kamdar went on floor and now yet another film starring Bhakti Kubavat will begin shooting from September 20. Earlier in August, Dhwani Guatam’s Kesariya, that stars Malhar Thakar in the lead was to go on floor, but the shoot was postponed due to lack of permissions. After staying at home for almost five months, Bhakti Kubavat is excited to getting back in the work mode. She will be shooting for a web series before beginning work on her next feature film. Talking about it, she says, “I am excited to finally begin work as it has been a long time since we all have been sitting at home waiting for things to get back to normal. But it will be a very different experience now because things have changed a lot.”

She adds, “Before we start shooting, all the actors and other crew members who will be working in close proximity with each other will have to go through a mandatory COVID test. And I am sure there will be a lot of safety protocols on the sets which will make the shooting experience very different.”
