During the 1971 Indo-Pak war, the IAF airstrip at Bhuj was destroyed in combat. This act of resilience was a pivotal moment which not only boosted the morale of the country, but also helped us win the war. The film is a tribute to the unparalleled bravado displayed not only by IAF, but the civilians as well.
Khiladi Kumar has graciously stepped aside for Ajay Devgn. After a mega release in January with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Ajay will return to the big screen on August 14 with Bhuj: The Pride Of India.
In the first look, Ajay Devgn is seen as an Indian Air Force officer, a first for the Shivaay actor, who has donned the Khaki in several films. The still has Ajay stare directly into the camera, with an Air Force aircraft in the background. The film will be released on 14 August 2020 to coincide with Indian Independence Day weekend.
