Chandrabindoo trio sings for Srijit’s Kakababu

Chandrabindoo’s Anindya Chattopadhyay, Chandril Bhattacharya and Upal Sengupta have recently recorded a song for Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming adventure drama, Kakababur Protyaborton. While the song, Tin Tirikke Noy, is penned by Srijato, Indraadip Dasgupta has composed the song.

The director took to social media to reveal the news. Srijit tweeted, ” Chandrabindoo sings Tin Tirikke Noy from #KakababurProtyaborton . This is the first time all three have sung together for a film, a song composed and written by someone other than Chandrabindoo. This is also the most fun I have had at a recording! “

Talking about the experience of the recording session, Anindya said, “This is the first time that three of us are singing a song that is neither written or composed by us. Srijato has penned the lyrics very nicely and the composition goes well with the flavour of Chandrabindoo. Srijit and Indraadip were there at the recording and we had a good time.”

Kakababur Protyaporton is Srijit’s third venture of Sunil Ganguly’s Kakababu series. Most of the film was shot in South Africa and will see Prosenjit Chatterjee reprising the titular role while Aryann Bhowmik as Santu. The film is based on the novel, Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel. In the story, Kakababu, aka Raja Roy Chowdhury, and his nephew Santu go to Nairobi. The plot thickens when a few tourists go missing from Masai Mara forest just before their arrival.
