After spending quality time with his family at home, Chiranjeevi Konidela will finally join the sets of his upcoming film Acharya.
Making the announcement that the Megastar will soon be back on sets post-lockdown, with the team taking all the precautions and following Covid-19 guidelines, the production house wrote, “Post lockdown, we are excited to be back on sets from NOV 9th with all the safety precautions. It will be a month long schedule in which large chunk of the movie shoot will be done. Mega Mass will begin at theaters in Summer 2021. #Acharya.” (sic)
Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya also sees Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role. The film’s shoot was in progress before the lockdown; however the schedule was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. While Chiranjeevi was the first actor to personally meet the CMs of both Telugu states to plead with them to allow shootings to resume during Unlock, he will only join shooting for his film now. Kajal Aggarwal recently tied the knot to Gautam Kitchlu in Mumbai with fifty of their close friends and family in attendance, so it remains to be seen if she will join shooting too.
Apart from Acharya, Chiranjeevi has a bunch of other projects lined up, including the Telugu remake of Lucifer with VV Vinayak, apart from films like Meher Ramesh and Bobby. Further details are awaited.
