Cinematographer Tirru says he's a big fan of KGF and is eager to meet Prashanth Neel

Cinematographer Tirru, who is known for his work in films like 24, Mercury and Petta among others, has said that he is a big fan of KGF. According to an English daily, Tirru was quoted saying, “As and when I get on to OTT to watch a scene of KGF, I end up watching the whole film. I have never seen that much cinematic understanding in a long time. After Mani Ratnam, I am seeing this in Prashanth Neel.”

The cinematographer says that he missed meeting KGF director Prashanth Neel when he was in Hyderabad. “While I was shooting for Mohanlal-Priyadarshan’s Marakkar, Prashanth was there in Hyderabad shooting for KGF. But yeah, I am looking forward to meeting him soon,” says Tirru.

Meanwhile, shooting for KGF: Chapter 2 began recently. Prashanth gave audiences a glimpse of the sets and even revealed how actor Prakash Raj was on board. The film also has Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles. KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the most anticipated movies in Indian cinema and fans are eagerly waiting for its release. Yash, on the other hand, it is said has been sweating it out in the gym as he is set to resume shooting for the same.

The film was expected to be released in October this year, but things got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and Sanjay Dutt’s health concerns. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages.
