Angad Bedi is one of the most talented actors we have in Bollywood. The actor, who wishes to be an actor for the millenials, finds youngsters and young actors unapologetic and hungry for work. He recently shared the screen with budding actress Janhvi Kapoor. Talking about her exclusively to ETimes, Angad said, “I have watched her in ‘Dhadak’ too and she was exceptional in it. She has got beautiful eyes and her expressions are lovely. There is a certain vulnerability in her which comes across. There are always questions in her mind regarding things that come across naturally in her performance. She loves to ask when she doesn’t know and that’s the beauty of any artist. She is extremely spontaneous and very hardworking.”
Elaborating more, he added, “I have worked with Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and others too. The dynamics today are very good amongst the actors. Young actors are hungry to better themselves and they are exceptionally critical of their work. So the collaboration becomes even more beautiful.”
Angad also went on to say that he tries to appeal to the younger audience every time. “For me, it is very important that my body of work connects with the younger audience. Youth is very unapologetic. If they like my work, everybody will do,” he averred.
“In this country where millions of people have aspirations of making it big in Bollywood, I have had my share of struggles too. I have stood in line, given auditions and felt what many others out there have felt. I am fortunate that I have stuck on and thank my family who had belief in me and stood by me. I would love to further my associations with these bigwigs,” he concluded.
