With his turn in films like ‘Kaminey’, and ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, and more recently, MX Player’s ‘Aashram’ which fetched him a lot of positive reviews, Chandan Roy Sanyal has made a place for himself in Bollywood. ETimes reached out to the actor, who turns a year older today, to find out how he was celebrating and here’s what he had to say:
“I am in Goa right now with my parents to show them around. I don’t have a particular birthday plan; I might drive around the Benaulim beach in South Goa where I am, or check out the Colva beach, which is like a hidden gem, not many people know about it,” he reveals. Ask him if he has a birthday ritual and pat comes the reply, “I don’t. Birthdays make me nervous because you get too much attention for a day. It just throws me off!”
But the actor does have a birthday wish. “I really hope that I get to take my first feature film, which I’ve written with my friend, Julie Shekhar, on the floors soon. That’s my biggest wish. Fingers crossed,” he smiles, signing off.
