After making a mark down South, Mumbai girl Tamannaah Bhatia ventured back into Bollywood with films like Himmatwala, Humshakals, Entertainment among others. It’s been 15 years that the actress has been shuttling between Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries. While she enjoys being part of feature films, Tamannaah is now in the mood to experiment with the new medium of storytelling, which is catching up pace in showbiz. While at the end of last year she picked up a web series, she further green lit one more, as she waited for her film projects to roll during the lockdown.
Talking about her decision to aggressively venture into the web space, Tamannaah says, “Given the scenario, I feel feature films won’t make any sense right now. I think for the next couple of years we will see a lot of growth happening in the digital space. Naturally, because we all are just watching that! It is the only medium we are exposed to in terms of entertainment as it is very easily accessible to us.”
The Baahubali actress opines that it is time actors evolve and adapt, especially as the web space has so much more to offer. She signs off saying, “As actors it is a must that we evolve and adapt to this medium.”
