Filmmaker Reema Kagti condemns BMC's demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s office; also defends Rhea Chakraborty

Many Bollywood celebrities have been picking sides and making their stand clear with their social media posts on the ongoing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. They have also been divided on the recent Kangana Ranaut-Shiv Sena row. Filmmaker Reema Kagti took to her Twitter handle recently to make her stand clear on both of these issues. She not only condemned the demolition of Kangana’s office by the BMC but also criticized the harassment of Rhea Chakraborty.

She wrote, ‘I condemn the demolition of Kangana’s office and I condemn the hounding and harassment of Rhea. Yes I can be against both these things.’

The ongoing case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death case has been getting murkier with each passing day. Rhea Chakraborty, who is one of the prime accused in the case, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau recently. She is currently in the Byculla jail after the court gave 14-days of judicial custody to the NCB.

The media received flak from the Bollywood celebrities and people on social media for hounded and harassing her when she used to come for questioning at the NCB office.

As for Kangana, following her verbal spat with Shiv Sena, the BMC went to demolish “illegal” portions of her office building in Mumbai. The court has stayed the demolition for now and has asked the BMC to reply to the actress’ petition first.
