His another upcoming film ‘Sahobashe’ is now an official selection at the 26 th Kolkata International Film Festival. So, Durga Puja starts with a bang for the talented actor.
“I am so happy to hear the news. There’s so much negativity around us. Now, we have something to cheer for. Guldasta is releasing today and last night I got the news that my film ‘Sahobashe’ will be screened at KIFF this year. It will have its screening at Rabindra Sadan on November 6. I am also a bit tensed. Fingers crossed for Guldasta. Although have heard good reviews from many. Let’s see whether the audience likes it. We have been waiting for this day for a long time,” said the young actor while speaking to us exclusively over the phone.
Anjan Kanjilal’s ‘Sahobashe’ sees Anubhav playing the lead opposite Ishaa Saha in this slice of a life drama. The story revolves around the life of an unmarried couple who live together to find happiness and contentment from their relationship.
Meanwhile, ‘Guldasta’, with an ensemble casting including Swastika Mukherjee,Debjanj Chatterjee and Arpita Chatterjee, along with Anubhav Kanjilal, Ishaan Mazumder, Abhijit Guha (special appearance) and Anuradaha Mukherjee, the film’s story encapsulates the journey of three distinctive women intertwined in a web of make-believe emotions.
