For actor Parambrat Chatterjee, Puja is all about making new memories. In a chat with CT, he revealed what makes his Puja really memorable for him. “For us, Bengalis, Durga Puja is a lot more than just a religious festival. It is also a box full of memories and nostalgia,” said the actor.
While elaborating on his Puja memories, Parambrata recalled, “I remember once, when I was in my sixth standard, we went on for a pandal hopping on Ashtami. I hurt myself badly on the day as my right hand thumb got pressed by the car door. It was excruciating pain. But that memory today is also extremely pleasurable because of the enormous amount of attention I got on that day. So, Durga Puja for me is about love, giving attention and seeking attention. You can never really have enough of it.”
The actor is currently in Himachal Pradesh for shooting. “I am going to be here till December, I think. It is a big project and I cannot reveal any details. But it’s going to take time,” he told us. Here, in Kolkata, he was shooting Abhijaan with Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Jisshu U Sengupta and others.
