Despite having numerous hits to their names, fans of both actor Vijay and director Gautham Menon have always been talking about the dropped project ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’, which was supposed have Thalapathy Vijay in Gautham Menon’s direction. In a recent interaction with a popular Tamil media house, director Gautham Menon, who has completed 20 years in the film industry has revealed that Vijay’s close associated have asked him to prepare a script for him.
Interestingly, it is to be noted that Vijay was also supposed to do Suriya’s role as Anbuselvan in ‘Kaakha Kaakha’. In an earlier interview, Gautham Menon had said that he had only completed 75 per cent of the script of ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’ when he approached Vijay for the film. However, Vijay reportedly wanted the entire bound script before signing the project and politely asked Menon to complete the script. Now, the acclaimed director has revealed that it was same scenario for Suriya starrer ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ as well.
Talking about working with Vijay, Gautham has said that though he is not sure if Vijay knows about his close associates asking him prepare script for him, he is hopeful of him by the end of the year and working together soon.
Meanwhile, Vijay is all set to begin shooting for his upcoming film tentatively called ‘Thalapathy 65’ to be directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar.
