Has Shah Rukh Khan planned to fly out Atlee’s entire team to Mumbai in December to lock script, cast, and location?

After a sabbatical of two long years, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his comeback in 2021. And for the same, the superstar has some very interesting projects lined up ahead of him which includes Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’, Rajkumar Hirani’s next, and his film with South director Atlee.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Shah Rukh will be flying out Atlee’s entire team to Mumbai in December this year as they are on the verge of locking the script. The report stated that the ace director has been developing the script remotely with Karan Johar’s team who is co-producing the film along with SRK.

The report added that Atlee will be in December for narration, to lock the cast, scout for locations, and get his technical team in place. The South director will be setting up his new office here as it won’t be feasible to travel from Chennai to Mumbai every month in the middle of a pandemic.

Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be playing a double role as a special force officer and a dreaded gangster in the movie.

Apart from his upcoming projects, SRK has also special cameos planned in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ and R Madhavan’s real-life story, ‘Rocketry’.
