Akshara Haasan made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Shamitabh’ in 2015. After that, she made her debut in Tamil cinema with Ajith’s ‘Vivegam’. Even though she played a supporting role in the film, it was admired by everyone.
Now, Akshara Haasan has opened up about her directorial debut and said that she needs more time for that. Currently, she is focusing on acting. She further added that she will direct a film at the right time of her career.
Akshara is the daughter of talented actor Kamal Haasan. She has worked as an assistant director to Rahul Dholakia on the 2010 film ‘Society’, which had her mother Sarika in the important role. While working as an assistant director Akshara has turned down a few offers and one among them is Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’.
Akshara currently playing the lead role in ‘Agni Siragugal’ with director Naveen, and she has been roped in as a replacement for Shalini Pandey. The shooting of the film is in process, and she is shooting for major portions in Kolkata.
