Here’s when Deepika Padukone will leave for Goa to start the shoot of Shakun Batra’s next

Deepika Padukone, who is currently at home, is all set to start shooting for Shakun Batra’s next amid the new normal. Apart from Deepika, the film also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

According to the latest reports, the actress will be travelling to Goa on September 11 to kickstart the shoot. A source revealed, “Deepika will head to Goa on 11th September after completing her brand commitments here in Mumbai. The team will prepare together and then start shoot in a couple of days.”

The film was supposed to go on floors early this year but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the shoot got postponed. The details of Deepika’s character are kept under wraps and her fans are eagerly waiting to see her new look in the film. During the lockdown, Deepika had indulged in online yoga sessions to prepare for her role.

Earlier, Mumbai Mirror had reported that the delay gave director time to work on the script. They will shoot the film in Goa which has a similar landscape of beaches and vintage churches. The overseas shoot will depend on the current situation.

On the work front, apart from Shakun’s film, Deepika will also be seen in the remake of ‘The Intern’. She also has Nag Ashwin’s next opposite Prabhas which is a PAN India multilingual project.
