Ammy Virk is one of the Punjabi stars who didn’t waste a day and went on board with shooting as soon as the government gave some relaxation in the lockdown policies. He started shooting ‘Saunkan Saunkane’, ‘Qismat 2’ and ‘Bajre Da Sitta’, one after another movie without a pause.
Recently, in an exclusive conversation with ETimes, when we asked the actor what keeps him so motivated to work without a break, here’s what he said, “If I take leave from the shoot for even a single day, it leads to an off for around 200 people.”
“Though I am paid even for the leaves I take. For instance, if the shoot gets pushed forward for one extra day, it might cost the producers but I will get paid for my work irrespective of the leave I take. However, that is not the case with those other 200 people; they are not paid for the leave caused due to me,” added Ammy Virk.
“Therefore, I make sure not to take off from work,” concluded the actor.
Meanwhile, this year, Ammy Virk will be hitting the big screens with his much-awaited movie ‘Puadaa’ on March 11, 2021. Starring him and Sonam Bajwa, it is a rom-com. Ammy also has his two Hindi movies ‘’83‘ and ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ in the line to release in 2021.
