Anushka Sharma is a popular name and Google search engine recently showed up her name in search when anyone looked for cricketer ‘Rashid Khan’s wife’. Anushka Sharma is married to Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, but her name popped up in search when looking for Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan’s wife. The reason for this is that Rashid had named Anushka Sharma and Preity Zinta as his favourite actresses, in an interview a few years back. And the search giant went on to refer Anushka as his wife. According to reports, Rashid Khan is unmarried.
Anushka Sharma had tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December 2017. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first baby together. A pregnant Anushka had shared a click of hers, posing with Virat and revealed that their baby was due to arrive in 2021. All through lockdown, Anushka and Virat entertained fans with social media posts and fun glimpses of the life at home. From indulging in board games to playing cricket on the terrace, this couple set massive relationship goals.
On the work front, Anushka was last seen in 2018 release ‘Zero’, sharing the frame with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She has reportedly signed up to play the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, but is yet to make an official announcement of the same. Recent buzz suggested that Anushka Sharma is raring to resume work immediately post her pregnancy and that she had signed on the dotted line to play an important role in ‘Adipurush’ starring Prabhas. However, a source had denied the rumours and told ETimes, “‘Adipurush’, we hear, starts its shooting schedule soon so all this rumour of Anushka doing the project is full conjecture. Anushka is making concrete post pregnancy plans on her work front and we are excited about what those projects will be. As of now, she is soaking in all the happiness while expecting her first child. We think Anushka will be ready to shoot from end of April next year. That’s what she has been aiming for and given how fit and healthy she is, she will definitely be ready to roll at that time.”
