‘India Lockdown’: Madhur Bhandarkar says “shoot in progress” as he shares pictures from the sets of his upcoming film

Madhur Bhandarkar recently announced his next titled, ‘India Lockdown’, and has already kick-started the shooting of the film. Today, the filmmaker shared some pictures from the sets of the movie.

In the photos, Madhur is seen discussing the breakdown of a shot with his cinematographer Keiko Nakhara. While the director is seen looking dapper as ever in his white shirt, pants, and brown jacket, Keiko looks lovely in her white shirt, grey pants and cool black shades.
Madhur captioned the pictures, ‘Shoot in progress of film #indialockdown discussing Shot Break down with my cinematographer keiko Nakahara . #Reellife @prateikbabbar @SaieTamhankar @AahanaKumra @shweta_official @ShihabZarin #PrakashBelawadi @pjmotionpicture @AyeeshaAiman #IndiaLockdown’

Talking about the subject of the film, the filmmaker told Bombay Times, “The film is inspired by true events and is set around the first two months of the lockdown (March-April 2020). It has multiple tracks running simultaneously, which revolve around migrant workers, sex workers, businessmen and lonely people. It will essentially deal with poverty and isolation. All of us were holed up in our homes, and for the first few months, we didn’t know what to do with our lives. We were not accustomed to this life. Through the film, I will try to understand what helped us survive.”

The film stars Prateik Babbar, Aahana Kumra, Shweta Basu Prasad and Sai Tamhankar, among others.
