'Indian 2' is shelved or not? Here's the truth

Shankar’s ‘Indian 2′ with Kamal Haasan is the lengthiest project of the filmmaker, and the film is often delayed to proceed due to several unavoidable reasons. The director’s recent interest in his next film raised the puzzle of whether ‘Indian 2’ is shelved. But the much-expected drama is not shelved, and Kamal Haasan will start shooting for the film once he finishes the election work.

Director Shankar has reportedly finished shooting 60% of the film so far, and the shoot is to resume in April with Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and others. The speculations on ‘Indian 2‘ arose since Shankar is said to join hands with Telugu actor Ram Charan for a Pan India film. But Shankar’s next project will commence only after ‘Indian 2’, and the talented director has a well-made plan to finish the film shooting in a short time.

In the film, Kamal Haasan’s character fights against corruption, and the film also has Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivek, and others. Rathnavelu is handling the cinematography, while Anirudh Ravichander scores the music. The film is produced by Lyca Productions, and it is one of the high budget Tamil films.
