After battling COVID-19, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is currently at home and she is trying to make the most of her free time with her family amid the lockdown. The actress, who was last seen in ‘Fanney Khan’, is all set to be seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s next ‘Noti Binodini’.
Aishwarya will be stepping in the shoes of Binodini Dasi, a courtesan-turned-theatre actor, soon. In a recent interview, director Pradeep Sarkar said that he hopes the vaccine comes by March so that the film can go on floors by then.
He said that Aishwarya is ready to do the film and he is currently working on the script. He went on to say that he has not approached other actors as he is waiting for this pandemic to subside. The director also revealed he has also started working on a dark comedy and a psychological thriller simultaneously. He said that he is unable to give proper narrations to actors over Zoom calls. He also said that before Aishwarya’s film, he might start working on the other script.
Aishwarya will be seen essaying the character who ruled the Kolkata stage for over a decade, her successful career and the men in her life.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya also has Mani Ratnam’s film titled ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
