Janhvi Kapoor commences work on ‘Good Luck Jerry’, shares cheery first still from Patiala sets

Janhvi Kapoor is kicking off 2021 on a high by commencing work on her film ‘Good Luck Jerry’.

The film that is said to be the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ will see the Bollywood star take on Nayantara’s role. Producer Aanand L Rai took to his handle to share the first official still of Janhvi from the sets and a caption that read, “Colour Yellow welcomes 2021 with #GoodLuckJerry starring @janhvikapoor!”

“The shooting of our new film has begun today,” Rai confirmed in the post.

In November 2020, news broke that Janhvi had been roped in for the remake of the South film ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ which would see her in a simple girl-next-door avatar. The shoot that commenced in Patiala, will reportedly be a start-to-finish shoot with one long 45-day schedule.

Early this morning, Janhvi shared a mirror selfie from her vanity van that hinted at the star was all set to get the cameras rolling on her next. ‘Sweater Weather’ she captioned the post.

Janhvi has several projects lined up, for their releases this year. Besides ‘Roohi Afza’ with Rajkummar Rao, the actress has ‘Dostana 2’ with Kartik Aaryan and Lakshya that is also slated for its release later this year.
