Janhvi Kapoor was spotted shooting in Chandigarh, Sector 19 for her next film, ‘Good Luck Jerry’. The location is that of the popular flea market, Palika bazaar in Sector 19. Janhvi has been shooting in Punjab since the beginning of January. However, the shooting has been stalled twice over due to protesting farmers raising slogans at shooting venues in Patiala, and asking the cast and crew to support their protests.
The production team thereafter shifted the shooting sequences to Chandigarh. The shooting also took place at Sector 8 previously. After Chandigarh, the unit headed to Ludhiana for the next schedule of shooting.
The film is being made by Anand L Rai and was launched in Punjab from January 10. The star cast includes, Janhvi Kapoor with Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh.
Though the shooting schedule was planned in Punjab till March, due to the farmers protesting against Centre’s three Farm Bills in Punjab, as on Delhi borders, the shooting was stalled twice at two different venues in Punjab soon after it started in the state. After the second time of shooting being stalled the production unit decided to shift to neighbouring Chandigarh. The protesters had landed at the shooting venue in Patiala and raised slogans against the farm bills, asking the production team to stop shooting in support of their demands from the government to repeal the three farm bills.
