John Abraham heads to Mumbai taking a three-day break from shoot of Satyamev Jayate 2

Rumour was rife in Lucknow on Monday that the shooting of Satyamev Jayate 2, starring John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar, was called off as the camera man of the film had tested positive for Coronavirus. But talking to us a source from the sets told us that it was but a rumour and no one had tested positive for Corona. “It was routine testing done of all the cast and crew for Coronavirus and perhaps people thought one of us has contracted the disease,” said the source. “John Abraham is going to Mumbai for three days as he is simultaneously shooting for a project there. That’s why the unit is taking three days off. No one, absolutely no one has tested positive for Covid-19 in our entire crew,” said the source adding, “The unit is following all the health and hygiene SOPs very very seriously.”

According to the source, the schedule has been planned in a way that they will be taking breaks for three-four days in between every week or ten days of shooting.

“The unit is very strict when it comes to checking for prevention of coronavirus. Thermal checks and masks are mandatory before entering the shoot location. There is a sanitising tunnel also which has been specially set up and everyone, from John sir to the producers and even the chai wala, have to go through it and wear the mask. Everyone has to follow all the rules. No one is being allowed inside without all the precautions in place. There are 3-4 guards doing rapid tests of the crew and the cast on the set every day and ITPR test of each and every person in the crew and the cast is being done every week. Another 3-4 guards are ensuring everyone is wearing a mask and entering through the tunnel only. No outsider is being permitted anywhere near the shoot location. Extra security has been put in place for that. The producers are taking no chances. The ITPR test of all of us was done this weekend and thankfully each one of us has tested negative,” informs the source.
