Kalidas in nostalgic mood; shares stills from his first film

Kalidas Jayaram is quite active on social media. Especially since the start of the lockdown, he has been sharing a lot of pics on how he has been spending time. One new interest he picked up during the lockdown is gardening. He has been quite involved in growing vegetables at his home in Chennai. In fact, the talented young actor even shared on his social media page that they prepared this year’s onasadhya using vegetables from his garden. He has also been sharing pics of his vegetable garden and motivating others as well.

Today, the ‘Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum’ actor seems to be in a nostalgic mood as he, on his Instagram page, shares stills from his first film as a child artiste. The Malayalam film ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’ released way back in 2000. Kalidas plays an important role in the film along with his father Jayaram. And he looks simply cute in the film with his specs.

On the work front, the latest we hear is that his film with Megha Akash – ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’ – the second film of ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ fame Balaji Tharaneetharan, which has been lying in the cans for a while, is all set to have an OTT release. In Malayalam, the actor has an upcoming film titled ‘Jack and Jill’, a thriller directed by Santosh Sivan. The film stars Mannu Warrier, Kalidas and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles. The film is also said to be released in Tamil with Yogi Babu playing an important role in the Tamil version.
