Kangana Ranaut responds to PC Sreeram rejecting her film, says "it's entirely my loss"

After acclaimed cinematographer PC Sreeram revealed today that he had rejected a Bollywood film because it had actress Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, the ‘Thalaivi‘ actress has responded to his shocking revelation. The actress, who has been in the midst of controversies for her contrarian statements, replied to the ace lensman’s tweet, saying she has missed an opportunity to work with a legend like him.

Taking to her social networking page, Kangana Ranaut posted, “I missed the opportunity to work with a legend like you sir, it’s entirely my loss, I don’t know what exactly made you uneasy about me but I am glad you took the right call, wish you all the best.”

Earlier in the day, the cinematographer had tweeted that he had felt uneasy (to take up a film starring the actress) and explained his stand to the makers. “Some times its only abt what feels right (sic),” he had added, and also wished the team the best.

Interestingly, PC Sreeram had stepped in to handle the camera for some portions of Kangana’s debut Tamil film ‘Dhaam Dhoom’, starring Jayam Ravi, and directed by his protege Jeeva, who unfortunately passed away while the film was under production.

Kangana is currently acting in Thalaivi, a sort-of biopic of the late Tamil Nadu chief minister and actress J Jayalalithaa, while PC Sreeram is helming the camera for Venky Atluri’s Telugu film Rang De, starring Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh.
