After spending five days in Mumbai, Kangana Ranaut is headed back to her hometown in Manali today, September 14. Kangana, who had rushed to Mumbai on September 9 after the Mumbai BMC had demolished parts of her office in Mumbai, which they said was “illegal”, the actor boarded a flight back to Chandigarh from Mumbai on the morning of September 14. She was spotted landing at Chandigarh airport in the morning of September 14, from where she is taking her private car back to her home in Manali, via Mandi where her parents stay. Before leaving Mumbai she posted on her social media, “With a heavy heart leaving Mumbai, the way I was terrorised all these days constant attacks and abuses hurled at me attempts to break my house after my work place, alert security with lethal weapons around me, must say my analogy about POK was bang on”.
In Mumbai, besides taking stock of her office, Kangana also met the Maharashtra governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari in what she described as, “my point of view to him and also requested that justice be given to me it will restore faith of common citizen and particularly daughters in the system”, through a post on her Twitter handle. Kangana has been bitter about the demolition and refused to get it repaired. She stated, “I had my office opening on 15th Jan, shortly after corona hit us, like most of us I haven’t worked ever since, don’t have money to renovate it, I will work from those ruins keep that office ravaged as a symbol of a woman’s will that dared to rise in this world.”
