Keerthi Pandian's Anbirkiniyal censored U, theatre release date locked

Anbirkiniyal , the Tamil remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Helen’ starring Keerthi Pandian has been censored U. The makers have announced that the movie will release in theatres on March 5. Keerthi is playing the role of Helen in the Malayalam original which was perfected by Anna Ben. The role of a dad played by Lal is being essayed by Arun Pandian. Both real-life dad and daughter are playing the reel-life dad and daughter in the movie. Anbirkiniyal, a survival thriller is directed by Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame, director Gokul.

Earlier, actor Karthi had revealed the first look poster of the film earlier,and later the trailer of Anbirkiniyal was also revealed. The film is produced by Arun Pandian and Kavita Pandian under the banner A&P Groups. Javed Riaz is the music composer.

The plot of the movie revolves around Anbirkiniyal, who works in a food joint. After she goes missing, search operations begin to find her out. The Malayalam movie Helen was a hit and the movie’s Hindi remake rights have been acquired by Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor. It’s said that Janhvi Kapoor will be playing Anna Ben’s role in Helen’s Bollywood remake.

Keerthi Pandian made her Kollywood debut in Thumbaa directed by Harish Ram. She starred opposite Kanaa fame actor Darshan in the movie. Keerthi recently has signed her next project which has actor Vinoth Kishan and the movie will be directed by debutant Giri Murphy.
