Kriti Sanon releases an official statement as she tests negative for COVID-19; thanks BMC and her doctor for the assistance

After returning from Chandigarh recently, actress Kriti Sanon tested positive for COVID-19. She wrapped up the shoot of Dinesh Vijan’s next alongside Rajkummar Rao and Aparshakti Khurana.

Today, she took to her Instagram story and confirmed that she has tested negative for the deadly virus. She also thanked the BMC officials and her doctor for their assistance.

Her statement read, “Happy to inform everyone that I have finally tested negative for COVID-19. A big thank you to @my_bmc officials, respected assistant commissioner Mr. Vishwas Mote and my doctor for all the help and assistance. And thank you all for the warm wishes and the never-ending love.” Have a look:

Earlier, confirming testing positive for the virus, she had written, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. There’s absolutely nothing to worry as I am feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor’s advice. So, I am gonna ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I am reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn’t gone yet.”

Meanwhile, during the quarantine, Kriti watched her film ‘Raabta’ which co-stars Sushant Singh Rajput. While she shared the post with a caption which read as ‘Shiv and Saira after ages’, SSR’s fans started re-sharing her post and also wished Kriti a speedy recovery.
