'Laal Singh Chaddha': Here's when Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will start shooting in Mumbai

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has brought everyone’s lives to a standstill. It has also affected the entertainment industry since the shootings and releases were put on hold. Recently, after the government eased out the lockdown rules, Aamir Khan headed to Turkey to start shooting for his next ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.

According to the latest reports, Kareena will also be joining the team in Mumbai soon. Reports suggest that the makers have started constructing two sets in Mumbai after Aamir gave a green light.

Reports say that Aamir wants to start with indoor shoots. His and Kareena’s scenes will be shot at Goregoan’s studio where a house has been set. After shooting with Bebo, it is being said that Aamir will then shoot at a military hospital and set has been created in Mumbai. Since Bebo is expecting her second baby soon, Aamir is making sure to maintain safety measures on the sets. He has hired a special team to control the safety measures. Reports also suggest that Aamir has instructed the director Advait Chandan that only a skeletal crew be present on the set when the actress is scheduled to shoot. The duo will start shooting from September 7 in Mumbai.

Earlier, a source revealed to ETimes, “Since Bebo’s baby bump is visible, it will be concealed using VFX. She has 100 days of shoot left and is expected to join the team in September-October to wrap her portions.”

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official remake of Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’. This film was previously scheduled to hit the screens during Christmas this year, however it was recently postponed by a year and will now release during Christmas 2021.
