Durga Puja means a kind of bonhomie that even a raging pandemic can’t stop. This is the belief that keeps actor Rwitobroto Mukherjee in high spirits. “This year, obviously Puja is a lot different but the usual feel-good ambience is still there. We may not be able to go pandal hopping and eating out much, but being with loved ones at home amid festivities is no less fun,” he said.
The young actor has some special plans this Puja too. “I will mostly spend time with friends and family at home but will not miss anjali. I also have four sets of new attires ready for the Puja days. Ashtami is all about traditional wear and I usually like to wear dhoti and panjabi on that day,” Rwitobroto shared.
The actor reminisced about Pujas gone by and said how he will miss all the pandal hopping this year. “Though these are tough times, still people want to celebrate in their own quiet ways just to usher in the positivity. Puja to me means happiness and a sense of belongingness too. This year, I am going to miss pandal hopping and eating out which are a regular part of my celebrations every year,” Rwitobroto said.
He is also very excited about the Puja releases. “Since cinemas are open during Pujas after a long time, I am eager to watch all the Puja releases this year,” Rwitobroto said.
