The latest trend among the people and even film celebrities seems to be popular reface application over the last few months. A number of Tamil actors had their face swapped with Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp in the popular Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Now looks like the next big thing would be the popular Avatar character termed as Na’vi in the Hollywood film directed by James Cameron, after pan Indian actor Madhavan turned into an Avatar.
Taking to his social networking page, the ‘Vikram Vedha’ star was all praise for the technology that makes such transformation possible and also seems to be mightily impressed. Sharing a video of himself as an avatar, Madhavan said, “It’s ridiculous what technology has managed to achieve in such short time. I am part of Avatar. Who would have thought of that? I am enjoying this so much. This is really exciting.”
With his amazing voice, the fans wouldn’t be surprised if he does the dubbing for the Hollywood film ‘Avatar 2’, which is slated to released in 2022.
Meanwhile on the work front, Madhavan is working on the post-production of his directorial debut ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’. The film is a biographical drama, which is based on the infamous 1994 espionage case that ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan was charged with. Madhavan will portray Narayanan from his age 27 to 75.
The film also stars Simran as his wife, Meera, apart from a host of other actors. Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan will be making cameo appearances in the Tamil, and Hindi and English versions of the film, which has music by Sam CS.
