Malavika Mohanan opens up about her shelved Malayalam film with Fahadh Faasil

Actress Malavika Mohanan is super elated as ‘Master’, a film which she is also a part of is hitting the screens today. She is essaying a pivotal character in the Vijay starrer and the diva is thrilled to watch the film on big screens. In a recent Instagram interaction with her fans, the actress was asked if she loves her life in showbiz. She shared that she loved to be an actor, as she can not only see but live and experience the lives of characters she can’t confront otherwise.

The actress also opened up about a Malayalam film that was shelved after shooting for it. Back in 2015, a film featuring Fahadh Faasil and Malavika Mohanan was announced but was stalled, unfortunately.

Malavika Mohanan in the Instagram live said that they filmed for about 20 days, and only 30 percent of the filming was left but due to some reason it was shelved. Malavika shared that she had to step into the shoes of a tribal girl for the film. She added that the journey was interesting as she went to Wayanad, a hill station in Kerala, and spent time with the tribal people and lived in small huts.

Malavika also divulged about the filmmakers she wants to work with in Malayalam. She said that Lijo Jose Pellissery’s works including ‘Angamaly Diaries’ have attracted her a lot and that she would like to work with him. She further shared that Anjali Menon’s films are also interesting and would love to work with the filmmaker.
