While the global pandemic has toned down the Diwali celebrations to a great extent in the country, tinsel town celebrities have avoided the usual Diwali gatherings and celebrated the festival of lights with their families. However, some besties in the Telugu film fraternity made sure to spend some quality time on the special occasion. Taking to social media, Manchu Manoj shared a picture from his Diwali celebration which featured Ram Charan and Manchu Lakshmi enjoying a cake-cutting session.
He captioned the post as “Had a great time with my sweetest brother @AlwaysRamCharan and my lovely akka @LakshmiManchu 😍 Celebrated the real Festival of Lights with my Bestiessss ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s selfies with his father Chiranjeevi on Diwali night took the internet by storm. Slipping into traditional attires, the father-son duo can be seen posing for pictures amid fireworks in the background.
On the work front, Charan is occupied with the shooting of his upcoming magnum opus ‘RRR’ elaborated as ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’ in Telugu. Set against the pre-independence era of the 1920s, the period-actioner is a fictional tale that hypothetically juxtaposes the journeys of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is paired opposite the Mega Hero in the role of Sita.
After a three-year break from the silver screen, Manchu Manoj is making his acting comeback with Aham Brahmasmi. Bankrolled by his own production house ‘MM Arts’, the pan-Indian film will be releasing in five languages namely, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Directed by debutante Srikanth N Reddy, the first look poster of Aham Brahmasmi featured Manoj in three different variations with a common Tripundra.
