While the nation continues to battle the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, a new controversy called the Boys Locker Room has gone viral on the internet and grabbed everyone’s attention. It all happened after a couple of explicit screenshots from an Instagram group of schoolboys went viral on social media.
This situation has enraged many, including Bollywood celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and many others, who have been sharing their stance on social media. Joining the bandwagon is Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput, who recently took to Instagram to react to the controversy. She shared her anger on this issue and asked all the women to teach their boys some basic etiquette like consent and gender equality.
According to reports making rounds on the internet, the administrator of the group, in which the boys talked about raping girls has been arrested by the cybercrime cell of the Delhi Police.
Meanwhile, Mira and Shahid are currently in Punjab amid the lockdown. A source earlier informed ETimes, “He left on 17th March because Mira’s grandparents own a house there so he took the kids and Mira and went to stay there to practice social distancing. He’s planning to stay there till all this dies down. He’s a responsible citizen and has been abiding by all rules as he’s concerned about everyone’s safety.”
