After impressing one and all with her acting prowess in ‘Super 30’ with Hrithik Roshan, Mrunal Thakur is all set to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Jersey’. The actress recently revealed that she is a huge fan of the actor and had a crush on him during her younger days.
Talking about the same to a news portal, Mrunal reportedly said that she is elated to work with Shahid and is glad that the universe made it happen. The actress revealed that her sister and she used to cut out pictures of the actor and used to get scolding by their parents. She added that it is nice to share these moments with Shahid.
Elaborating more about working with Shahid in ‘Jersey’, Mrunal reportedly said that she just cannot stop praising Shahid as he is a fabulous performer. Mrunal revealed that she sits in front of the monitor when it is his shot so that she does not miss out on the X factor that he has.
‘Jersey’ is the remake of Nani, Sathyaraj and Shraddha Srinath’s Telugu film of the same name. The Hindi remake also features Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur in a key role. The film is directed by Gowtham Tinnanauri, who also directed the original one.
