'Naarkaali' director VZ Durai upset over the film's process

Actor turned director Ameer is currently playing the lead role in the political thriller ‘Naarkaali’, which is directed by VZ Durai. Ameer kickstarted the work for the political thriller seven years ago with director Chandran, and the film was later titled ‘Narkaali’ after VZ Durai took over the direction. Now, ‘Naarkaali’ director VZ Durai is reportedly upset over the film’s process. VZ Durai took over the direction with certain rules and got approved by the makers that no one should interfere in his works.

But now the makers have included a portion that was removed by the director. This move by the makers has probably irked the director, and VZ Durai is reportedly in an argument over the film’s process. This might delay the film process even further and would hamper the film release. The ‘Naarkaali’ shooting was wrapped in January, and the first single MGR song was released by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami.

Chandini Sreedharan plays the female opposite Ameer in ‘Naarkaali’, with Anandraj, Raj Kapoor, Imman Annachi, and others in key roles. Vidya Sagar scored the music for the political thriller, and the film is bankrolled by Adham Bava, under the banner of Moon Pictures.
