Nagarjuna and Ashishor Solomon's Wild Dog team heads to Manali

The team of Ashishor Solomon’s upcoming action-drama Wild Dog headed to Manali recently to begin shooting for their next schedule.

The film will see Nagarjuna in the lead role, playing encounter specialist, NIA officer ACP Vijay Varma. The team of Wild Dog flew from Hyderabad to Chandigarh, Punjab and went by road from there to Manali. Actor Ali Reza has given regular updates of their travel and shooting both, with the filmmakers recently even shooting at the freezing temperatures of Rohtang Pass. Ali keeps sharing beautiful views both from his hotel room and shoot both. He even shared a black-and-white picture of Nagarjuna on set and wrote, “in Action #WildDog.” (sic) In the picture, Nagarjuna can be seen standing in the snow with a gun in his hands.

Apart from Nagarjuna and Ali Reza, other lead cast is also expected to have headed to Manali for a lengthy schedule where some key sequences will be shot. Wild Dog is said to have been based on a true story of a man who dealt with criminals severely. While Nagarjuna has played members of law enforcement before in Officer and more, this film is expected to show him in a whole new light. Apart from Nagarjuna and Ali, the film also stars Dia Mirza and Saiyami Kher in key roles.

The film is produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy of Matinee Entertainment. It will see dialogues penned by Kiran Kumar and cinematography by Shaneil Deo. Further details are awaited.
