The 51st edition of International Film Festival of India began in Goa on January 16. Several films from across the globe are being screened at the fest. Siddharth Menon and Nehha Pendse starrer Marathi film ‘June’ also made its way to the festival line-up and was screened today. Interestingly, the film has been shown for the first time on a public platform.
Nehha, who is also backing the project is quite thrilled with the kind of response the movie has garnered. “I am glad that our film got selected to be screened at such a prestigious festival. It was great to see audiences laughing and crying, and accepting ‘June’ so beautifully. What I really missed is the usual madness at IFFI. However, it’s great that the film festival is at least happening this year,” said she.
Unveiling the trailer of the film on social media, Nehha wrote, “We just had the world premiere of the film. It made us glad that our little baby took its first steps. So it is just natural that we show you a bit of this wonderful journey. Presenting to you the first trailer of our labour of love, June. Healing is beautiful. This year, June will come twice,” (sic).
